CrCl = (140 − age) × weight (kg) × 0.85 if female / (72 × serum creatinine)
Serum creatinine in mg/dL; weight in kg (pounds are converted at 2.20462 lb/kg). Derived in 249 men; the 0.85 factor for women was assumed rather than measured. Uses the weight entered — no adjustment for obesity is applied.
