TIMI risk score for UA/NSTEMI
Score = number of predictors present (0–7)
Derived in the TIMI 11B trial and validated in ESSENCE and the TIMI 11B enoxaparin arm. Event rates are for all-cause death, new or recurrent MI, or severe recurrent ischaemia requiring urgent revascularization through 14 days: 4.7 % (score 0–1), 8.3 % (2), 13.2 % (3), 19.9 % (4), 26.2 % (5) and 40.9 % (6–7). Higher scores identified the patients who benefited most from enoxaparin and, in TACTICS-TIMI 18, from an early invasive strategy.
